Oooh, what a fun thread. I always blank out when I go to the video store, and this is reminding me to go get Amelie next time! I love the Notebook too (but I cry like a baby and have to watch it when no one's around!). The Whale Rider is an AMAZING film as well. What a fantastic and eclectic list of films we've got goin'.

Skippy, City of God is a crazy but good movie. Are you talking about the one that takes place in Brazil with a character named Lil' Dice?
