You know, I don't really think it's right that Federal gov't jobs qualify for IBR/forgiveness. They have high security, great benefits and, by some measures, the pay is better than private sector work. Most of my law school classmates view gov't job as lower-key mommy jobs. I am not sure this is what we want to subsidize.
