We should all be wearing pins! When I was a teenager in the early 80's, I had a 1950's swing coat with a great big lapel. It was covered with pins. I have always loved them!

I have a vintage costume pin on every one of my coats and jackets. I switch them out from time to time.
I have 3 gold pins that I wear on shirts.
Life is short, we must enjoy every bit of bling!

Oh I forgot about scarves until someone else mentioned them! That would be a great way to wear it without worrying about damaging your clothes, you could get a bunch of inexpensive ones just to wear your brooches on!

I think I'm afraid to put a hole in my clothes and have them enlarge and ruin the clothes in the washer. I've had this happen a couple times and stopped wearing any pins after that. I think a lot of synthetic materials made from hydrocarbons are less durable than cottons and wools of the old days. Nowadays you can hardly find clothing made solely from natural fibers in stores and have to pay much more if that's what you want to buy. In the meantime, I'm tempted to bling out my purse, but a bejeweled purse would just give people the wrong impression as to my age? I'm not in my teens or 20s anymore.
