Ever have days where you want to get out of the house and DO something but can''t find anything to do? Or you think of something but it doesn''t sound to appealing?

I''m having what FI calls a "Negative Nancy" day. We left our home after DD woke up from a nap and had lunch and were going to either Jungle Island or Miami Seaquarium but realized it closes at 6 and would cost us close to $70 for a couple of hours!

So then we thought beach but it''s Spring Break and the traffic was horrible. We thought museums but they close at 5!

Boo! So now we''re going to have a really late lunch and go to Ikea lol. *pout*

Sure, we have those days. Right now it''s sunny and breezy here, too bad it''s 33 degrees outside!

Usually on nothing-to-do days my daughter and I just stroll the beach. She loves just wandering and collecting pebbles.

Yeah, we have those days. I''m the one mostly complaining though. My husband is perfectly happy hanging out at home all day whenever he''s not working (on the weekends). I, on the other hand, *need* to get out and do something. It could be errands, go for a walk in the park, sit outside and read, etc. I just need to do something outside these walls.

My husband sighs at times and finally says, "okay, FINE, where would you like to go? What do you want to do?" Sometimes I have no answer, so we usually end up just going for a drive.

I have those days too - and my husband is like many, content to not do much of anything sometimes :)
Going for a walk is usually a good fix for me :)

Oh, I hate days like that! I''m having one today -don''t want to do anything more active that sitting in my rocker chair, but I''m bored with sitting in my rocker chair. I am my own worst enemy sometimes!

This is my life. I like to take ds out every afternoon because I feel like he gets bored otherwise, but I have the hardest time thinking of things to do. And when dh is home, it makes it even worse. Things either cost too much money, are too far away, or just too much of a pain to take ds to. I end up going to Target or the mall and just walking around a lot. And then I end up spending too much money anyway

. We''ve been a little better lately in that we''ve gone to the zoo, the park, the beach, etc., but now I feel like we''ve exhausted all the "nice weather" stuff and it''s not even April yet!

Ikea sounds like fun

I have those days too. I try to take the dog to the dog park if it is not too cold outside. Or go to the gardening store and look at the flowers.

For sure! DH is happy spending all of his free time at home. I, on the other hand, like to get out and just do ANYTHING lol. I dunno why, maybe I just like being around crowds.
