After finding 7, 5-6 week old kittens great homes..... 2 more appeared. There are two adult females at my job, so we are thinking this is probably 2 litters since 9 is an awful lot. We knew two females were sharing the nursing duties for the original 7, but one mama must have been hiding these two elsewhere and brought them up front when the other 7 left with me. They are the same size as the one I adopted and I feel like I am back to scratch and need two more homes. For those of you who were wondering about the adults. On July 21 the two adult females and the one adult male who hang out at the prison are going to a spay/neuter clinic where they will be fixed, given rabies and DPT. We will bring them back to the prison where they are fed and have shelter.

Now the little guy I kept is the cutest thing ever.... he is my 3rd cat and I have two dogs as well. My FI jokes that we will have a farm soon but they bring us sooooo much joy.

Introducing Rocky....

Ok... this is clearly not a cat..... but the latest shot of one of my other loves... shining in the sun on Myrtle Beach......it also happens to be one of Rocky''s favorite chew toys.... we are trying to get him to stop that...

I''m sorry there are two more kittens to deal with, but please don''t lose sight of what an amazing, wonderful, extraordinary thing you are doing - you have done more than anyone could possibly have expected of you to find all these sweet babies homes and get their parents spayed/neutered so there aren''t more homeless babies down the road. You are a very special person, and I really admire what you''ve done - you are these kitties guardian angel, and you should be very proud!
