The Sims 3

So is anyone else out there as excited as I am for The Sims 3 to come out? I already ordered my copy (it comes out tomorrow!).

I liked The Sims, loved The Sims 2, and I''m curious to see what The Sims 3 has in store. I told myself I wouldn''t buy it until after our wedding and honeymoon in July, but I found it for cheaper than retail online, and then my fiance didn''t stop me from ordering it (in fact, he enabled me a little).

I''m really excited about the seamless neighborhood and the fact that the other sims age without you having to play them.

OMG I am soooo excited! It seems like from the previews that you can actually walk about the neighborhood. I purchased as well but just realized I can''t play on either computer yet (need updated graphic/sound card).

I sadly rebuilt my computer six months ago with the specs of Sims 3 in mind. Hopefully it''ll run like a dream! I''ve heard of a few people running it with equipment below specs - so it may still work!

I got sucked in to the sims for a short time in college... one day I realized I''d just played for 2 hours straight

so I put it away never to return

There is no way I''d even try out this game as I know I''d waste hours on it and my kids would spend the same amount of time watching me.

I LOVE the Sims! I've got the original with all the EP's along with Sims 2 and EP's. But I just don't have time anymore to play it

Im constantly on the computer at work so by the time I get home, the last thing I want to do is be on the computer. It's so tempting though...

MY GOD! I just watched the video clip. I can''t believe how this game keeps getting more and more realistic as the years go by. But they always have to get ya by creating all these EP''s that you buy and then they come out with a whole new Sims version that you WANT even more than the previous one.

Oh no. I got terribly addicted to the original, so I stayed FAAAAR away from Sims 2. Maybe, if I get a new Mac in the next year like I''m considering, I''ll get Sims 3, but DH will NOT be happy!

yeah... so any updates? What do you all think of the game? I pre-ordered it in November (yeah, i'm a HUGE sims nerd) and I HATED it the first couple hours of play. I even regretted deleting my sims2 games from my laptop to make room for 3. But now I love it! There's little differences I miss but overall, I think it's an improvement! hbu?

and wow, musey! If it took just two hours of gameplay for you to call it quits, I need an intervention or something!
