The "MAN" Rules!

I don''t know where he got these, but my husband has been carrying them around in his wallet for the last 7-8 years! I think these rules could be the reason why we''re still married!

But, I''m thinking (always dangerous) that perhaps we need to add a line about sparkly stuff in there! Whatcha think?

The Man Rules!

1. The female always makes The Rules.

2. The Rules are subject to change without prior notification.

3. No male can possibly know all The Rules.

4. If the female suspects that the male knows all The Rules, she must immediately change some or all The Rules.

5. The female is never wrong.

6. If the female is wrong, it is due to a misunderstanding which was the direct result of something the male did or said wrong.

7. If Rule 6 applies, the males must apologize immediately for causing the misunderstanding.

8. The female may change her mind at any time.

9. The male must never change his mind without the expressed written consent of the female.

10. The male is expected to mind read at all times.

11. The males who does not abide the The Rules cannot take the heat, lacks backbone, and is a wimp.

12. Any attempt to document The Rules could result in bodily harm.

13. The female is ready when she is ready.

14. The male must be ready at all times.

rules 13 + 14 are so very very true in this household......and here i thought it was something i learned from dad! when i was a kid, you'd better be ready when he was. now i find out not only did it get it from my father, its inherent in being female. my poor hubby doesn't stand a chance......

eta after a rather sick minded and sex-obsessed individual e-mailed me thinking i should edit my response. so, here's the explanation: when my dad was ready to leave the house, we'd all better be ready to leave or we'd get left behind. i'm the same. i took rules 13 and 14 as when a woman is finally dressed and ready to go, then it is TIME TO GO. that is the way it is in our household. however, i do see how a rather sick minded and sex-obsessed individual could misunderstand.....
