The Center Part. Feelings?

I part my hair the way it naturally falls, kind of left center….I have been told to part my hair in the middle (from my 19 and 17 year old teens) but old habits die hard. I also have a mix of skinny jeans and wide legged jeans (not baggy fit) so basically I wear my hair and jeans the way I like, and don’t follow trends. As for the top sheet….i answered that in the top sheet thread :)D470C131-31C3-488C-B6A0-CCA660FE7F96.jpeg

Your hair looks amazing!

^^It really does! I wish I had hair like that. And I think the off-center part is very flattering. A center part would make you look like an old granny/19th century woman (per my photos upthread) in my middle-aged opinion!

HI:

LOL @Gussie Yearbooks--the things nightmares are made of!!!

Center parts never really worked on me as I have a "cowlick" so it is best to have a slight side part where that hair falls naturally. I recently cut in hair in a shorter shag--and I curl it with an iron and mess it up, , so one really can't see the part most of the time.

cheers--Sharon

My hair naturally parts right in the middle. It's long and wavy with some spiral tendrils towards the bottom. I just let it air-dry because that is what allows it to curl the best. I haven't used "product" since the 80s when I was in grade school. I have tried side parts, bangs even, in my younger years, but I have a cow lick that splits the bangs into 2 sections (hence the natural center part) and I could never get the Zooey Deschanel bangs of my dreams, lol. I honestly wouldn't change my natural hair or texture for the world now. I get compliments all the time. You have to do what works for you and not try and fit into a cookie cutter. Your hair knows what it wants to be, it's up to you to work with the natural texture and cowlicks (wherever they may be on your head) that nature gave you! =)2

Remember feathered layers? Those were the days...how's this for a prime example? I'm so getting feathered layers when my hair's long enough.

Omg hair goals for me. Alas. Completely unattainable for fine straight hair!!! Looks good three days. Then it literally looks like like a mouse gnawed off my tips . Just horrible.

How do I know? Went to a hairdresser on a whim while on holiday. She gave me that cut. Started looking bad after I left. I'm sure she knew
