I have only watched ONE show of this Bachelor series, and it was last night''s final rose ceremony. It really annoys me how Jake said he "loves" Tenley when he clearly just admires her and wants to be more like her. It is sad that Tenley did not get how "not into her" Jake really was.

Vienna robs me off the wrong way. Even at age of 23 she comes off as immature and arrogant. I am not surprised at all that the other girls did not like her (though I have no idea what happened).

Nothing specific actually ever *happened*. The girls just didn''t like her personality. I think the best way to describe her would be "somewhat abrasive".

However I think it shows alot that his family came around and understood her as a person, after thinking so badly of her from the beginning. IMO, I think that was the perfect scenario for the "gang mentality" that went on in the house. She rubbed one or two girls the wrong way, and the rest realized which "side" it was better to be on, and they all ganged up on her.

I agree with you about Tenley. Also, I can actually see how being with a girl/guy like Tenley could be difficult. Would you feel comfortable around someone that is NEVER upset? I would be so worried that I would upset them, it might make me feel like I had to be a different person.

I''m all for loving life and doing everything you can possible to make yourself happy, but that girl takes it to a WHOLE new level. Can you really be that peppy on a daily basis? or do you think being on a television show and in far away countries plays into her excitement level?

I had no idea that Tenley has the reputation of being "peppy all the time". To me, she just seems like a genuinely nice and sweet person who is diplomatic and has conservative core values. I think it is a very good trait in fact. However maybe Jake just feels pressured because he knows he is not as "perfect"?

Favorite lines of the night:

Jake, when describing Tenley to his family: "Tenley has all of this experience...she''s 25." Cue HUGE eye roll from SIL Lindsay, who was awesome, btw.

Then he said this about Vienna:

"And then there''s Vienna...she''s really smart."

I was on the floor laughing at that one.

This show is soo ridiculous, I love it. I for one can''t wait for Ali to be the bachelorette, but I watch this show for the train wreck that it is, not because I like or believe that they will find "true love".

But how the heck is she going to have the time to be the Bachelorette, if her job was so demanding that she couldn''t stay for the duration for the Bachelor? I just watched my PVRd After the Final Rose, and found Ali to be kind of annoying (again). Hope she''s less b*tchy when there are 25 men vying for her attention.

I watched them on After the Rose last night and I don''t event think they''ll last three. I see none of the "chemistry" they supposedly had on the show and their kiss was very staged and awkward.
