Nothing average about you missy. I got the nicest compliment today, was at bruch with DD hubby and a client. Friends of the client stopped by the table, so the client introduced us. They said, no way is that a mother and daughter, they must be sisters. I said oh that''s so sweet. DD was gracious and said thank you, we get that all the time. I just smiled and said thanks.. Makes that being over the hill mark not so bad huh??

Isn''t that the greatest feeling? I remember the first time some guy in the store was behind me and my daughter while we were taliking and when we turned around he looked at us sort of surprised "Oh, you''re her Mother!" I got very sad and said "Boo, you knew?" OMG, it''s over now, people can tell... He said "No, I figured it out, but it just shocked me". Nice save buddy.

On a more recent note, when DD was in the recovery room after giving birth to Veda, a nurse was in doing vitals on my daughter while I took Veda and said "Come here to be with your Gramma" and the nurse said to both of us "That''s your Mom?" And we both looked at the nurse like "Um yeah" I guess it was a compliment.

Aren''t most women permanetly 29? Isn''t it in the zone of rudeness to ask age of a woman? I''ve been carded twice recently and the one woman said she cards every gal who looks under 27.

Of course I AM older than 29, but nobody noticed I didn''t say my real age.

That is because I''m still 29!
