What is the question?

How many cats do you have?

What is your previous budget times this number to be able to get the OEC of your dreams and then some...:cool:

How many books has Donald Trump read in his lifetime?

LOL Deb you are being way too generous. The question is more likely: how many books would he read if he didn't think he was an expert on absolutely everything.:lol-2:

How many Planned Parenthoods are left in Texas?

How many budgies are in your smugglers? :oops2:

HI:

The number of recent threads in RT with the word "duped" in title and other weird trollish SMTR stuff.

cheers--Sharon

The number of pets I want to have. I have 1 space available....

The number of clones I need to get through my To-Do List.

lol good questions :}
laurenk yes you deserve a 4ct diamond.
I wish there was a 4ct Octavia on order. That would be way kewl!

My question is:
If 28 passengers get on a bus at the hotel and 7 couples get off at one stop, 5 people get off at another, and 3 couples get off at another. How many people are left on the bus?

4

28 - 14 = 14
14 - 5 = 9
9 - 6 = 3

3+1 (one driver) = 4

Confession: I first posted 3, not considering the driver (assuming this is not one of those newfangled self-driving vehicles).
But knowing the OP is a pretty smart cookie, I couldn't stop wondering why I didn't come up with 4.

Had Karl not posted the 4 I would have left my answer as 3, and been wrong.

So Karl, do I now get a free 4 ct Octavia?

I have question. "Octavia" actually is the derivative of "eight" in Latin (so 4 should be half-Octavia). Where does the name of your cut come from, Karl? Does if have a certain number of facets?

(I looked up Kenny's threads and GOG and decided to start saving...).

Octagon. 8 sided. Hence Octavia. I think...

How many times I stumbled drunk into my bedroom wall trying to plug in my phone charger before figuring out it's easier to get on my knees and approaching the power point (after a big night at a heavy metal club).

I was only going to see the one band... :saint:

That was such fun, so interesting, to read, Karl -- thank you for sharing it with those of us who weren't privy to the story of the Octavia as it was unfolding.
Your welcome.

You know, it is not surprising - if you put Octavia in search engine of PS, this story does not come up. I don't know why. I ended up.putting Kenny, and got his threads about Octavia.

I am of a firm belief that best inventions come from people who are outsiders and are not quite happy with existing standards. You must have STEM education, Karl, right?
associates in EET aka Electronics engineering technology, self taught computer and diamond geek.
Actually self taught in a lot of things.
Have done a little bit of everything over the years. HVAC, construction, electrical, audio systems and design, design in different fields, security, armed security, security systems, machine operator, and pretty much everything there is to do with computers and networks in some way or another other than chip design and I know the basics about that too.
Current interest is learning industrial cad/cam and machine design.
Never made much money doing any of it but its been fun.

A genius. :)

This means you are an autodidact, my son is one (my 2nd son). He's got a degree in CIS but he's so knowledgeable about so much because he self teaches. A great skill Karl.
