Happy Thanksgiving to all!

As we celebrate Thanksgiving tomorrow, please think about those who aren't as fortunate and consider donating to your local food bank and/or animal shelter.

Yes, and give good quality food, too! My son and I were in the store today and looked in the donation bin and someone had donated a big plastic container of CANDY! ??? Even my son thought that was weird.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!! I hope we all have a wonderful, relaxing, delicious day.

We have Island Harvest food collection bins all over Long Island during the holiday season. Local stores, banks, the mall, everywhere. I drop off a couple of bags of food for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Cans, boxes, jars, anything that will keep well. I take advantage of sales everywhere and just load up two shopping bags of things we eat. It feels good to know that we've helped, even if just a little.
