I posted a package containing a few CSs from Jeff White: EC Aquamarine, a pair of pink Morganite for the Aqua to be set as a ring; a white Topaz for a pendant; an Asscher cut blue Zircon intended as a ring, and a pair of OEC Moissanites as interchangeable earring drops.

It posted at my local post office on 08 May 2021, arrived in China on 05 June 2021 and got refused to be further processed by their postal service or whatever, allegedly it did not have a contact phone number on the package when my contact in China rang to make enquires, new to me about the need to include a contact number!

Tracking ended with no further update. My contact at the bench managed to find out it was returned and left China in late July 2021.

I contacted UK's postal service, and they said it was probably returned via the cheapest possible route over land and sea, and might take some time to be returned to UK.

I gave up checking for tracking updates for the past month or so, and had started to plan for their replacements in the last week or so.

Low and behold, the package was returned to me this morning, signed for by my postie!!!

Monetary value aside, I frigging love that Aqua and the Asscher cut blue Zircon!

So glad they are home!

I shall post my nicer stones separately and not in a large bundle, so that it would be easier to replace should anything happens to the packages.

To be honest, I was about to give up hope for its safe return, however, I was not going to start replacing the CSs until early part of 2022 when I shall more spare pennies for blings.

I started to make enquiries to replace my OEC Moissanites that were in the package with pear shaped ones only a week ago.

Ahhh I'm so happy for you, what a relief! What a pill it would have been to have to replace everything.
