It''s lovely where I am. Cold and damp.
It''s getting horribly close to summer though. I''m the odd one out here. Hay fever and very pale skin makes me prefer winter by a long way - I''ve had a wonderful few months and I''m dreading how hot it seems to get even in Scotland in summer now.
The average is fairly pleasant, in the low to mid 70s, but it can suddenly go up ten or twenty degrees for a few days. I stay indoors!Date: 3/17/2010 8:31:31 AM

Ha ha! I feel your pain Mrs Mitchell, and I''m sure you can imagine how out of place I feel with my blindingly pale skin in Australia. My daughter has red hair and an even paler complexion and I am terrified of what the sun will do to her. Just out of curiosity, how hot does it get in Scotland? Our summers seem to be out of control these days and I''m someone who hates being cold. Last year''s 2 week run of 40 degree plus (110 - 120 F) days felt vaguely apocalyptic - a feeling that was more than fulfilled when much of the state erupted into devastating flames.
I know, gotta love it!!!!Date: 3/17/2010 12:55:17 PM
