We live in a condominium complex with 21 units. My dad owns ours.

Our next door neighbor is a med student who changes hours every 3-4 weeks, so I never know when she is home. She's awesome though. She always invites us over to her drunken med student parties, and we invite her over when we have people over. She recently had one of her friends move into her second bedroom, and I have no idea what he does, but he seems nice. We exchange baked goods.

We share a wall with an older lady, and the only time we hear anything from her is dinner time when we can hear (and smell!) whatever she's cooking. She likes to water the plants around the complex but other than that, we don't really see her.

"Mo" as I like to call him is the "manager" of the complex, which really just meals that he takes care of the landscaping, and keeps an eye on everything, like maintenance and security.

There is a lesbian couple that lives above us that seems nice enough, but we really don't talk to them. I think they are grad students?

Our other neighbor lives above the med student, and I think she's a Physical Therapy student. She's really nice, but I think she makes a ton of noise, because the med student complains about her a lot.

Most of the complex is made up of college students or recent college graduates. They are all 2 bedrooms. I just wish we had a swimming pool.

We live in a court with 6 other houses. Every single house comprises of late 30s/early 40s couples with young kids, and ever husband in the street is a tradesman!! My DH is an electrician, two are landscapers, one is a mechanic, one is a bricklayer, one is a painter/plasterer and one is a builder! We tend to swap DIY favours for each other

And I'm pretty sure all of the mums are SAHMs.

Everyone in the court is lovely now, but I think most of them bristled up when we moved in. One couple actually admitted to us that they thought because we are a young couple, their quiet, affluent court would be disrupted by 'hoons' (?), and that it was 'unfair' that at our age we have a nice house in a lovely area, and that it has taken them until thir 40s to get to the same position.

Ummm... WHA?!

Then they actually bothered to get to know us and understand we are actually NOT hoons, and that we work hard for everything we have!! We all get along well now, thank goodness!

Our next door neighbours who we rarely see, have a golden labrador which our two mini foxies love to squeal at through the fence

Other than our little monsters having the occasional gripe with next door's dog, it's very quiet here!
