My niece was hinting to me today she''d like to be in the wedding *as discreetly as a 15 year old can be lol* And I would have loved to have them as bridesmaids but I have 6 already! I also have another niece in the same family who is 16 and a nephew who is 13. How have you guys involved family members like this? 15 year old niece is a really fantastic singer buuuut....FH will be a singing a song at the wedding already, would it be weird to have 2 people singing? What could I have the other one do? She is really religious, maybe I could ask her to read a bible passage....I just want to include as many people as I can especially if they are immediate family. And then there''s FH''s side who is just as big as my side. What are some good ways to be included in the celebration other than in the wedding party? I know the one thing I will not do is strand somebody at the guest book because I had to do that once and it was soooo boring, I mean people knew what it was there for, they didn''t need me to tell them lol. Ok I am done. I am trying to keep myself busy, FI is coming home from a trip to see his buddies over a long weekend and he said he brought me a present home, I wonder what it is! Couldn''t possibly be an e-ring, I''m past that period of waiting :)

you could have....

junior BM/GM
readers (like you said)
another singer (why not??!)
program passer-outers
greeters
"personal attendants" (some people take offense to this, but most don''t. it''s just a role that you can have someone in to be with you on the day and help with little things (getting water, finding out where other people are, etc) while you and the BMs get ready and just being around you for support. not a slave, just another helping hand. give them a corsage and put them in the program and you''re all set

Also, we are talking about asking some of FI''s younger cousins to help with things like the guestbook and gift table.

FI has about 30 younger cousins, i just think that we won''t ask them to do anything specific, but i do know he has a step-niece and 2 step-nephews (are those the right terms? i dunno) i also have a lot of younger cousins but I know I will limit people in the wedding to actual immediate family members to keep things simple. Also FI has a younger sister (she''s 22) who is not a bridesmaid so I know we will need something for her to do. That is a tough one as I don''t know his sister too terribly well.
