Woo Woo! I am engaged to be married to the most wonderful man! He proposed last night, nothing too fancy, but it was wonderful. We are both very private people so it was perfect. He made me this awesome steak dinner, mashed potatoes, corn, and margaritas (I know a funny combo, but we love margaritas!) we had dinner it was yummy. So we were on the couch listening to some music and he got up because he had to go to the bathroom. He was in there for like 15 minutes AT LEAST! I just thought maybe dinner didn''t sit right or something

. Well anyways he came out and then called me upstairs, and grabbed my hands (he was shaking and so sweaty) and proposed! Apparently he was in the bathroom, trying to collect his thoughts haha! We then went out to celebrate. It was great.

It was a great suprise because I had helped to pick out the ring, knew he had it and was going to it before november, so I was kinda bummed that I knew so much. So if he had planned a proposal that involved something like a fancy dinner, or carriage ride, etc. I would have known he was going to do it. It was awesome and perfect for us! And deffinitely a suprise!

We are going over to my parents today to watch the Penn State vs Michigan game, and I will take pictures there and post pics! My camera isn''t all that good, but my dads is great!

Ok we took some pictures but it is really hard to capture the details, so for now these will have to do. It is 1.05 H in white gold, with .5 ct setting. I helped to pick it out and it came out better than I imagined!

That is the sweetest story! I love that it was private. I know some people like big, public proposals with applause etc and that's fine but I love the private setting, so sweet.

Why are guys always so nervous? He obviously knew you were gonna say yes since you helped pick it out...I think it might be society putting so much pressure on them...poor things...
