Has anyone had clothes made to measure?

I''m thinking of getting a trouser suit and some blouses but am not sure what sort of information they need. Do you need to have a template i.e. a jacket, trousers and blouse for them to follow or just a picture? I guess they need to know your measurements and will probably measure you anyway. Do you supply your own material or use theirs?

Anything I need to watch out for?

I think I''ll try out a trousers to see what their quality is like and then move onto more complicated and costly things like fitted shirts and jackets.

Haven''t got round to getting the trousers but am getting a pair of flat work shoes made to measure. We''ll see what the fit is like but they''ll be similar to a pair of hogans I saw in his shop. Working out at $93 but once you have the last made then the others are cheaper.
