When is your baby due?

Congratulations! How exciting!!

Are you experiencing a good pregnancy so far?

Will you find out the sex of your baby, or go for the surprise factor?

Ooh... I just babies! Congratulations to you and daddy!!

I just noticed it too, yay! It would be so cool if you updated it throughout the rest of your pregnancy for us, hint, hint!

Thanks ladies for thinking of me!

Fisher, the baby is due 10.28 (so that makes me 22 weeks tomorrow). The first trimester was ROUGH. I will not sugar coat it. I had the "hang over" feeling 12 hours a day for 2 months. But I have been feeling pretty good this trimester! Sure there are annoying side effects (heartburn when I am not even EATING
20.gif
, I am in love with who ever invented Tums, oily skin/hair, numbness in my leg, extra tired plus watching my body change is scary at best) but nothing that makes me HATE pregnancy! Plus I just started feeling the baby move/kick so those moments of pure happiness outweigh the annoying moments. We will be surprised on the sex though we both feel like it is a girl. I just really wanted that little extra surprise factor (since we don''t care one way or the other). We are very excited and I can''t wait for halloween for our baby tacori to be here (hopefully I will not be that late
23.gif
) Since DH was a 10 lber and I am fairly petite I doubt they will let me go too far over.

Monnie, I have been updating the PS pregger''s thread. I thought you lurked there? Baby is doing good! Everything so far has been very textbook. My second shower is at the end of July so I am excited about that. Seeing our 20 week U/S really hit home about how much of a miracle this whole thing really is (and I am not a cheesy person! I SWEAR!) It was great for DH and I to bond with the baby. How is all your dental stuff going? You gotta get that done so you can join the mommy club
2.gif

I do lurk on the preg. thread sometimes, I''ll have to go read through the more recent posts--I haven''t lurked there lately! My dental work is coming along nicely, thanks for asking! Last year when I went for my annual exam my ob-gyn was telling me that teeth move faster when you''re pregnant so pregnancy + braces might actually be a good equation, although I don''t know if I want to deal with both at the same time, lol! Oh, and I meant that I was hoping you''d update your avatar as you get new ultrasound pics, hee hee.

Ohhh...well I am not sure I''ll get another u/s

I guess that is the curse of having a normal, uneventful pregnancy. If we do get another one I will make sure to change it. Can you tell what it is? (it''s the baby''s profile and it''s little arm. I had to walk quite a few people through it so I guess it is not as obvious to other people as it is to us). I have never heard about teeth moving faster (but she would know not me!) Do you know how long you need them for? I had them so long ago (6th grade) and only on my upper 6 teeth but it really wasn''t so bad. Your teeth are just sore after each visit (when they tighten them). Each pregnancy for each person is different so yours might be a walk in the park!
9.gif

Yup, I can tell what it is because I just went back to the preg thread and read your post describing it, lol! Sooo cute, and I loved the crossed feet one, it looks like baby is crossing its feet that it won''t be much longer she/he will be able to meet mommy and daddy Tacori!
36.gif

I thought that looked like an Ultra Sound pic!!

Congrats, Tacori and STB Dad!!

First trimester with Son was easy. I got tired out a lot more easily than usual. No morning sickness, TG!! But OH, the smell of oil in the air around fast food restaurants!! Oy!! That would nauseate me in a heartbeat!!

With our daughters, twins, that pregnancy was a nightmare from the get go. And, of course, they stayed in there until I was painfully full term!!

Here''s wishing you 7 more wonderful months resulting in a precious, little wee one with 10 perfect little fingers and 10 perfect little toes!!

Well, hopefully I only have 4 more months

Sorry your pregnancy with your twins was so horrible. I am sure all the extra hormones were the cause! Plus with girls supposely the morning sickness is worse. My aunt was a week late with her twin girls
32.gif
. I know the baby has 10 toes (I counted!). It is so cool how much you can see on the u/s. I am sure (s)he''ll be perfect, at least in our eyes!

Monnie! I just saw they have our China at Cosco.com (of all places) for $89.99 a place setting! That''s pretty good. I know you were talking about filling in your set. They have some serving pieces too but I am not as familiar with their pricing.

Get outta here, really? We have 7 PC''s now, and MIL has one stashed away for Christmas already so we''ll have 8, but I would love to have 12. I will definitely press DH this time to make it a priority to go ahead and get another 4 PC''s. I''m so worried our pattern will end up being discontinued.

We registered for Wedgwood Metropolis flatware...we received two PC''s and the hostess set (5 piece serving set, basically.) I never have gone ahead and filled that in either. So a couple weeks ago I finally got around to looking for more online and found out the pattern has been discontinued, I was so peeved. I think I''ll probably end up selling what I have on ebay sometime and just getting different flatware. I SO wish we could afford the Vera Wang Grosgrain sterling, it''s just gorgeous, but uber expensive, there''s no way. I remember I really like the flatware you chose, I can''t remember what you said it was, though. Didn''t you get it at Bed, Bath, & Beyond or am I wrong?

I hope things get better, Ms. Tacori. How exciting though!

Your ultrasound is one of the best I''ve seen. Some of my friends have had them to show off, and I have no idea what I''m looking at. But yours, well, it''s *so* a baby''s little head!! Cuteness!!

Most of my friends have said the first trimester is the worst, so I''ll be hoping the remaining trimester and a half go well! :)

This weekend, I held a BRAND new baby. Made me want to throw the Pill far, far, far away from me.
9.gif
Paul says not yet, though. We''ll see.

Are you going to get one of those little itty bitty onesie Halloween costumes for your little one? Seeing a NEW baby in one of those would be so precious!

Congratulations again! (I think it''s great when people go for the surprise factor; all pregnancies used to be that way, and I hope I''m patient enough to wait, myself.)

Have you chosen names yet?

My bad. I thought I read you were 2 months along. I was thinking, "WOW!! U/S pics are really detailed now!!"

I can truly feel for your Aunt. Going full term was bad enough. I would been fried if I''d have gone a week over due!!

can someone explain the US picture to me, i cannot for the life of me see the ''baby'' in there. i am the worst at deciphering those images.

oh and 10/28, hee hee, prepare yourself for a scorpio baby!! i am a scorpio and i think they are the best but they are definitely the most ''extreme'' sign of the zodiac!! hee.

Hey I just saw this too - Congratulations Tacori!

Hope your pregnancy side effects improve as you get further along. Very exciting for you and your husband. Best to all!!

The baby is lying down with nose North. I hope this is easy to see.

Thanks Skippy! Mara, here does this help? The little bump in between the arm and hand is its nose. I know NOTHING about scorpios. Thanks for the warning!

I know can you believe it?!? Of course we already have 12 otherwise I would snap these up in a second! I registered for this but actually ended up returning it since I couldn''t justify have two new sets of stainless flatware. Don''t forget to use a coupon if you buy ANYTHING through BBB.

I haven''t seen too many u/s but I was pleased with this shot. I have several more but they are harder to determine what you are looking at. They gave us a few 3D ones too but they are kind of creepy. I was feeling the biological urge hardcore before we started trying. I''ve always wanted to be a mom.

How funny are you. I said we should get a little costume and my mom totally made fun of me! I guess the baby will be TINY but I figured the sleeper/soft types. I guess I will wait and see what they have at the stores and when I actually deliver.

I don''t know if we will be surprised for the next one b/c it is hard!
40.gif
But I am so stubborn that there was no way I was going to buckle (even though DH TRIED to get me to the little devil!) If we have a boy we will name him William (Will) after his late uncle and the girl''s name that is winning out so far seems to be Natalie.

No problem! We had our first u/s at 6 1/2 weeks and you couldn''t see a THING (well they could but DH and I were totally confused). If we hadn''t heard the heartbeat I would have doubted there was a baby in there. This u/s was fun since you could see everything (legs, arms, belly, head...) I am glad I am in the second half. I feel *much* calmer about everything.

I remember the first U/S with the girls. The doctor wanted it because he said something wasn''t quite right during my monthly exam. He felt sure it wasn''t anything to be concerned about. He was just checking. No worries.

Hubby is standing there. I''m laying on the exam table. The Tech brings up the first image. I say, "That certainly doesn''t look like it did when I was pregnant with our son." The Tech says, "That''s because you were only having one baby then. You''re having 2 now."

If I hadn''t been laying down, I would have fainted.

The color drained from Hubby''s face.

Thank goodness for technology. Many times, doctors don''t hear the 2nd heartbeat until real close to term. We learned we had twins on the way in November. They were due in April. So at least we had a chance to prepare.

You''re in the fun time of pregnancy now, Tacori. When the baby starts to move and you feel it. You''re showing, but you''re not huge. The hormones are in harmony. And all is right with the world.

Enjoy every moment of it!!
36.gif

Tacori, comgrats again and I hope for only good smooth sailing from now on! My oldest and youngest are Scorpios. They are great but definitely keep you on your toes!

My third was my worst pregnancy, I was ill all nine months literally til delivery. The worst heartburn ever, it used to make me cry. And fatigue that had me in bed all day, once I dropped my kids to school, back in bed, and there til pick up, have the nanny watch them, back in bed. I was 35, but really do not know if that was the only reason. I could not smell most things without gagging and got sick in some restaurant bathrooms...it was truly tough, but soo worth it, my munchkin is going to be 6 in November and he is amazing. But I am done at three, no question!!

Thanks FN! I am trying to enjoy it. It is crazy to think how much our lives are going to change in a few months. It's never going to just be the two of us again. It's exciting and scary at the same time. I can't imagine the shock of having twins! I am sure they keep you busy! I am very glad I finally look preggo but I don't think I have the "glow" at least not yet.

DF, I was SO relieved once the morning sickness wore off b/c I had heard stories like yours. Luckily I work from home so the days I was really exhausted I could sleep in. I don't know how I would have survived a 9 to 5 the first few months!
14.gif
I kept thinking how do women do this with other kids. But the memory (or lack there of) is a great thing. Mine wasn't so bad that I won't have another child. I am hoping labor will be like that too
