"Suspect told investigators that "he loved God and guns".
... so this lovely Christian guy murders 8 people ... 6 of them Asian women with whom he may possibly have had sex with at these "massage parlors" ... he says he has a sex addiction.

Oh poor baby, so it's not his fault.

Oh, but wait ...
Didn't the Pope just announce he can't bless same-sex unions because God can't bless sin? :wall:

How lovely.
Just lovely.

I would love to share thoughts here about this but unfortunately it would break PS rules.

:(

Make that millions. :(

Yup.
Don't say ANYTHING unflattering about religions.

They're entitled to get away with ANYTHING!

They're special.
They're exempt from, not only taxes, but from accountability because they're RELIGIONS.

Oh, I could have much to say about this.
I'm also absolutely disgusted and appalled by the local chief's sympathy to the suspect, "He was having a very bad day." response to this yesterday.

Yeah, it's not my fault when I murder 8 people if I'm just having a bad day.:mrgreen:=):)):D:sun::lol-2::kiss2::geek2::praise::love::wavey::appl::clap::pray::dance:

I'm just an innocent white supremacist sex-obsessed Christian having a bad day. :saint::saint::saint::saint::saint:
Murdering those heathens was justified punishment for the naughty temptation they forced upon innocent little ol me.

I mean it's not like I'm some faggot homo who wants to commit his life to the person he loves ... obviously a revolting hideous sin that cannot be blessed by the leader of the largest Christian cult on the earth.

Really folks ... like WTF!?
Why is nearly everyone protecting and enabling these people?
Fear? Shame? Intimidation? Guilt?
Glob only knows. :nono:

I cant believe the amount of twisting and contorting to NOT call this a hate crime.

I also saw a tweet: "It is not lost on me that the police managed to arrest a white man alive after a murder spree, and yet Breonna Taylor was an innocent murdered as she slept in her own home".

There is nothing, absolutely nothing, that religion can't make worse. And there is no evil too heinous that religion can not be used to excuse it.

Sickening

One of the strongest tools of white supremacy is gaslighting - convincing minorities that it’s not about race, that the killer’s intentions weren’t racially charged, that this is a lone wolf who had a “bad day.”

Until enough Americans acknowledge that this country was founded by white supremacists on ideals of white supremacy, and choose to confront their implicit biases and work on themselves, then we will continue to see violence and social unrest.

It's interesting that you mentioned the founding fathers. The Constitution was written by many slave-owners, and as such they added language to not only count African-Americans as not full humans, they also said that you can only have full rights of a citizen if you are a ful human and your grandparents were full humans. Thus they ensured that freed Slaves never got their rights realized in U.S. Although there have been many amendments to the Constitution, the racists in power, AKA Jim Crow, transitioned to institutionalized racism in the form of red-lining. They made sure people of certain races were red-lined so that they could never get loans from banks or get state and federal money for better schools and infrastructure etc. So now racism is in the fabric of society.

That tweet was so spot on. Just awful.

Obviously this guy doesn't go to church. :boohoo:

He's a Southern Baptist and part of the student ministry team at his church. He was described as big into religion.
His daddy is a youth minister/pastor.

Um actually he did, and so do many murderers... Going to church doesn't make someone incapable of hate crime murder sprees.

Clearly, he didn’t learn much.

I don’t expect everyone who goes to church to be Saints. But I don’t associate church with breeding murderers.

Just my two cents. I’ll stop commenting before I get banned.

They described the family and him in past tense. They stopped going. I don’t know what happened.

He and His parents are still part, and current members of Crabapple First Baptist church. They call his father a lay leader. The church has some very fundamental/extreme beliefs.
I can guess what happened. * it was his parents who turned him in.

I’m still looking for some problems religion has solved.

Figures...

He will likely learn a lot in prison about what it’s like to be on the receiving end of sexual exploitation and domination,
