Of course it's supposed to rain here - typical. Perseid meteor shower? Rain. Lunar eclipse? Rain. Blue moon? Rain. It seems like any event in the night sky around here occurs when it's raining and all you can see are clouds. I've become quite good at predicting the weather by looking at upcoming celestial events.

I thought it was last night
it was too cold
Gary got up to go to the loo about 2am and said too bad its too late
we could have got in the car and gone to look at it
- there is no cloud today and its going to be clear and cold tonight
we could probably see it from out on the street

ive seen it
we were about 10min too late to see the full eclipse so there was a sliver of white moon visible

it was waaaaay up above out house

took a while to find it and it wasn't as big as we thought it would be - i guess because it was quite high in the sky

didn't bother with a photo when we can have Kenny's photo latter! (My photos are always cr*p anyway)

It was dedinatly red (in an Australian red dirt kind of way)

It was freezing with a frost on the lawn and we desturbed a bird in a tree

Kind of wish we had put some oven fries on about 20 min ago and made an occasional of it

We are having toast
not the most excitting midnight snack and it was big thick toast that burnt on the edge so the cat now smells of burnt toast like everything else in the house !
