Quick vent. . .I don''t mind when I''m hanging out with a friend and she is wearing sunglasses. . .it''s when I''m in a crowd of people (many of whom I know) and I''m walking up by someone and have NO idea if the person is looking at me or not. Just a few days back I sat there waving at my friend (who was wearing dark lenses) and then realized she wasn''t even looking at me. URRRG.

hahaha

You''re so funny MC - I''m always amused by the things that bug you (in a good way!)

You should''ve come to my "pet peeves" post from a few days back

I was just saying this yesterday to my mom!!! We were sitting and talking and this woman I didn''t know wearing dark sunglasses started waving at me and I was so confused because I had never met her before and I kind of awkwardly smiled and half-waved. Turns out she wasn''t waving at me, wasn''t even LOOKING at me, and walked over to a woman behind me who she clearly did know.

What bugs me is people who wear sunglasses indoors. What is that? I know you have seen it. I have seen people shopping with sunglasses on. Those 3 martinis this morning hit you so hard that the store lights are too much for you? Uuurrgghh.

I have a co-worker who insists on bright, bright, bright lights. She gets mad if anyone shuts any lights off.

But, then she does this sunglasses thing when going outside and walking in the building - because she thinks she looks cool that way. Pick one - you want it glaringly bright or not. IDIOT ! !

Oh, and she''s ridiculously loud (and coarse).

+1 on the indoor thing. Some people need to get over themselves.

Uh oh. This is me. I am the crazy indoor-sunglasses-lady. I''ll tell you a secret--it''s because I''m too lazy to switch from my prescription sunglasses to my regular glasses when I''m ducking into Starbucks or ordering lunch or picking up dry cleaning, but I still like to see (especially if I''m trying to choose said lunch from a big overhead menu). Also, sometimes when I am leaving or entering somewhere and I have my hands full, I can''t dig through my bag to get my sunglasses or put them away, so I just put them on before I go out, or leave them on once inside. I also get bad headaches, and fluorescent or other super-bright lighting (hello, Home Depot!) is a trigger for me, so [ducks and covers head] I do sometimes shop with sunglasses on. Last confession: if I have a really early flight or errand or something that I want to do without putting on makeup, I just put on sunglasses to hide my tired-looking, red-rimmed, sleepy eyes. I am not a morning person, and I''d rather have people think I look ridiculous than have them think I look ugly as sin.

Okay--confession over. Hope you don''t think too much less of me

I either: did not bring my handbag [with the glasses case with the other prescription glasses in it], am being lazy, have not put on makeup, or think I am a celebrity [joke - but a lot of people do nod and say "hello" to me, LOL!]

+1.

I actually told my best friend this when we were out shopping. She was actually wearing sunglasses at the time, and she quickly took them off. LOL I should have clarified that it only bugs me when the other person if facing you and you can''t see their eyes and where they are looking. Hahahaha
