Wedding SuLi''s non-pro candids

Hi everyone! We got married last Thursday (our tenth anniversary together). We had a really lovely day, a little breezy, but comfortable for DC. My friend sent me some candids that I''m going to share. Our photographer is currently on vacation, so it we won''t see our pictures for a few weeks.

Funny aside...we opted for a civil ceremony. It was in a non-descript office building near the courthouse. Outside, there was a really funny sign. Above the name of our officiant, was "A Fast Divorce". We joked that if we decided that we made a HUGE mistake, we could have just hopped over and gotten it easily dissolved.

Thanks for the kind words everyone...I thought that the candid shots were fun.

I was a J.Crew bride! Good eye! It''s the Gracie gown. I loved wearing it -- very easy and pretty fuss-free. I didn''t have to make any alterations to it!

Good eye! That is Pentagon City...in the "Pentagon Row" area. I had my wedding day make-up and hair at the Red Door Salon over there. My husband (still very strange to type this) and I eloped, but we still got dressed up to have pictures taken of us, so no reception. We had a party earlier this summer, and we actually met our parents for a nice dinner in Baltimore, down on the waterfront.

That shot of us at Pentagon City was from when we got picked up (towncar drove us around DC).
