Wedding SuLi''s eloping pro-pics!

Hi everyone!

We got the link to our proofs two days ago! We don''t have the CD yet, but I wanted to post some of our pro-pics, so I apologize for the grainy look of the pictures! I realize that the pictures are a bit "posey" but we eloped so there wasn''t opportunity to take other kinds of shots (ceremony, reception, etc). But, we really wanted pictures to commemorate the day and to have as keepsakes.

Out of the 451 photos, these are some of our favorites...please bare with me while I post them. Thanks!

At the Lincoln Memorial...

At the Jefferson Memorial...we were stopped by the Park Police, so good thing I applied for a photography permit!

One of me...I think my make-up turned out really well. I bit lighter than the trial, which is what I wanted. The MUA also did an amazing job covering up some dark spots, which I was hyper-concerned about prior to the day.

This was taken outside of our apartment, at the end of the day...I think you can see gum in my husband''s mouth.

At Union Station...our photographer did an amazing job making it look like we were the only ones there, when in fact, there were a TON of people. We had a bit of an audience at one point, which made me very self-conscious!

Thanks for the flower compliment! My friend and I went to Whole Foods early that morning and made the bouquet ourselves!

At the World War II Memorial...did I mention that it was chilly and windy that day?

At the DC War Memorial...it's a hidden gem! It's my Jane Austen-y shot. If any of you have watched the most recent Pride and Prejudice movie, there's a scene where Elizabeth and Darcy are arguing in the rain -- the pillars of this memorial reminds me of that scene.

Another Jefferson shot...our photographer kept telling us to look at each other and walk down the steps. All I was thinking was, "Please don''t fall, please don''t fall, please don''t fall..." in my 3.5 inch heels!

Thanks for the compliments and well-wishes! I''m glad that you guys like the pics!

Shoes...I wore Manolo Blahnik Sedaraby pumps! They were really great and comfy, although a half size too big (I had to use Foot Petals). People seem to really love the shoes! We keep getting e-mails from friends and family to that effect.
