Hi everyone!

I''ve made an appointment for a hair trial for this Friday. I''ve never had a trial before, and don''t know the answer to this question -- are you able to ask them to try more than one hairstyle during the trial, or do you have to make separate appointments? I would like to try a particular updo and one down.

Thanks!

I''m not sure. You could probably do two, but you should let them know your plans before hand so they can budget their time...

It depends on the stylist, and salon. The only way to know for sure is if you call...if you're just trying to get an idea of the general look you want (as I was) and they usually do only one style, perhaps you can suggest 2 really quick tries before perfecting any one thing. You'll get a sense for the one you'll probably end up liking better and then just go ahead with a "perfect" version of that one.

And to answer your question...I had 3 trials. My first one did two completely different styles. The second one did only one, but she played with certain elements of it to see what would look better. The third one did only one, but she kind of got it right so I didn't want more anyway. Since I got married away, in Mexico, I took pictures of that last trial to the stylist in Mexico. And I also did a trial with him. Can you tell I was obsessing about my hair being right? But this was so important to me since I always wear my hair the same way and I wasn't sure what would look good on me.
