I am going to look like a git I am sure, but here goes anyway
When a photog package says for example, 5 hours coverage, does that mean including the time in between taking the pics after the ceremony and starting the reception ie. down time for the photog, travel between taking the boys getting ready shots to the girls getting ready shots. Or does that mean I am on the clock from the minute I arrive and 5 hours later I''m outta here, even if that falls during a time that I would like them to be there. ie start of reception to get the venue pics, fake cake cutting etc, or real cake cutting for that matter!
What is the standard?
I don''t know if prices vary in Australia, but I am looking around the $2700-3000 mark for 5-6 hours coverage, all or a lot of pics in a proof album (printed 5x7) , all pics on 2 copies of DVD disk, and a deluxe magazine style album, 12 pages (24 sides) - it''s also called a digital album, where the whole page in like a photo, and you can add stuff like writing and do other funky stuff, you can do more than one pic on a page etc, and put writing and other digital stuff on each page. OMG am I even making sense?!?! Why is this so hard!! Does this sound reasonable?
What things do I need to look out for when picking a photog? I am looking at their websites and trying to look at ones that have the sort of relaxed casual fun pics I am looking for.
