I thought we could do an expanded post, and could still keep some things anonymous. Here''s a follow up poll to fiery reds!

How much did you spend on your dress + alterations +accessories? (shoes, veil, jewelry, etc)

Umm... just the dress we are going to wear... or um, for those of us with previous dress indiscretions... all of our dresses. Very different numbers, you understand.

Over, um... 2K difference. That's not even counting the two pairs of shoes, seven hair accessories, multiple veils... um, you get the point.

Aw darn. I voted wrong. I didn't read your breakdown, and assumed you were asking for the same total as fieryred including men's attire and makeup. Sorry!!

I voted 3-4k, and it should've been 2-3k.

I''m assuming this does not include hair and makeup, but does include underwear? I bought an already inexpensive J.Crew dress on clearance, so my underwear cost was over half the cost of the dress!

The dress cost me 600$ + tax. I got the veil made for free, used my HS prom shoes and borrowed my jewellery, so it ended up costing me just the dress! Well, I paid 18$ for hair jewellery... Not a big deal!

So far only $2600 for the dress...I guess I already know my accessories will be expensive though, since I chose $3-4k!

I should have picked $2-3k to try to restrain myself...
