(sorry for mis-spelling Seattle...I actually knew they had two t''s) my appolagies!
In the end, the calls didn''t decide the outcome of the game. Steeler still would have won. Technically, Seattle was better. Steelers seem to want it more & had the big plays to make it happen. Surpriseingly, the Seahawks didn''t.Date: 2/6/2006 9:57:56 AM

BUT that goes both ways, there were a few calls all around that were questionable (fumble etc..)
Although I agree, the calls still went upstairs for most and thats what was decided.

I believe he is the Safety. Polomoulo (sp?) is his name. He is someone respected on the field and off the field aside from his unruly do.Date: 2/6/2006 12:40:01 PM

Like I said, we don''t normally watch, so I don''t know these players, but who the heck is the player with the long, frizzy hair that hangs way out of his helmet? Ewwwwwwwww.![]()

My poor husband may never recover.
In the end, the stats mean nothing except stats. A W is a W is a W. Steelers made the big plays when they needed to. I think the Steelers defense was precisely to let them make the small yardage & concentrate on stopping the big plays the Seahawks are notorious for. Hence, one reason for the good stats.Date: 2/6/2006 5:05:54 PM

If you are not a big NFL fan, Lynn, are you sure they earned it?? Seattle did beat the pants off of the Steelers in stats .... I think there may be a Pennsylvania bias lurking. (Haha, not that I don''t have one.)
Take a look at any sports news webpage and read about the officiating. I don''t blame the entire loss on it, but it definitely played a factor, so I don''t know if they ''earned'' their win.
No, probably a few too many beers.Date: 2/6/2006 5:51:11 PM

And I''m not surprised you are a Steelers fan... most of the country was yesterday. We were trying to win an uphill battle.
Okay, well, my husband appearently has a major thing for football and cannot live w/out it. To put in perspective, we spent $500 on play-off tickets a few weeks back. . .So, that said, my husband freaked when the season started and went out and purchased a Plasma set!Date: 2/6/2006 1:29:17 PM

How did you watch the game last night if there is no TV in the house anymore?![]()
