Just saw the footage of the tornados that tore through the D-FW area!!! Please stay safe :saint:

I have all my family accounted for, minor vehicle damage so far, haven't heard about the last house. As long as the people are fine, that's what matters to me.

Just now watching the footage, I hope everyone is safe!

Thanks, luckily the areas where I and my family live weren't hit by the tornadoes. We got hail and tons of rain, but everything seems alright. I don't know what hail damage the roof may have, but hopefully not much because we just got it re-roofed due to hail damage LAST year (crossing fingers!).

Ame, I didn't know you were in the DFW area. I hope the storm wasn't too stressful for you with your pertussis.

I am not in DFW, I live in STL, but I have family in DFW, suburbs just north of Dallas and scattered between D and FW. One of the twisters was about maybe 3 miles from my MIL house and she has lots of HUGE trees in her yard.

I just talked to OUPeargirl. She's in DFW putting the finishing touches on her wedding plans. They spent some time in the closet, but things passed north of them.

Holding out good thoughts for the rest of our Texas folks.

a very close friend of mine is a PhD student at SMU and she spent half her school day in a basement on campus... but everyone is safe!

Its been REALLY warm all season, and while last year was hellacious for tornado season, it was a much more up and down weather season....we in STL got a lot of snow last year, more events and cold weather in winter. This year was like maybe 3 weeks total of colder weather, barely any snow (thankfully). But it's been 90ish for like the better part of the last two months. So...I don't know what to expect. The lack of extremes would make me think it wouldn't be so bad...who really knows.
