Squeeze Lock Backs on Earrings - Do PS vendors offer this?

I saw DeBeers diamond studs yesterday. Simple studs in a basket setting with 4 prongs, nothing special. However, the backs were great!

This is a link that I found for purchasing only the backs. However, they say they will not work on normal earrings ("these backs require their own earring post").


Do you know of a PS vendor that offers backs like that for their studs? I would like to order a set of three matching diamond studs in the future. Because I need three, I need a special order so I was thinking of working with one of the vendors we often see her on PriceScope.

Stuller sells both the backs and the posts to the trade, so it wouldn't be hard for a vendor to get them. I suggest you contact the people you want to work with and ask them.

With 10 more minutes on Google, I found that these are also called "la poussette" lock backs and that Brian Gavin has them as well.

I have two pairs of earrings with these backs, one from Wink and one from Images. Both were able to get them easily and quickly so they might be common pieces that they always have in stock.
