Admit it...you sing in the car at the top of your lungs. You turn up the volume of a song during the best part. You play air guitar. Whatever. What do you rock out to?

Led Zeppelin "In Through the Out Door" for one! The whole CD.

Just about everything I listen to. I always sing in the car, even when I''m not alone. I make up words when I don''t know the real ones, and I watch my ring sparkle while I pound on the steering wheel. I still don''t know the words to Free Falling, but I insist on singing along like in that Tom Cruise movie.

State of Shock "Money Honey", or any of their songs for that matter!

The Clash "Rock the Casbar"

U2 Sunday Bloody Sunday

Strmrdr, I here you. Loved the 80''s.

Metallica''s ''for whom the bell tolls''
Kiss ''rock n roll all nite''

I totally crank it up and rock out....instead of air guitar, I do air drums!

Sara McLachlan CD- Mirrorball. Love the entire CD.

Fugees- Killing me softly

Actually, I sing almost every single song I hear, but I don''t necessarily know all or any of the words.

I noticed I typed in here not hear. Whoops.

Oops, I should have typed my songs here, not on the other thread, what songs give you the chills HA.

Layla, Erick Clapton, or his name before Derek and the Domino''s.

Take The Long Way Home, I forget who sings that one.

Love all the Rolling Stones Song.

Beach Boys., well I graduated highschool in 1967, so what do you expect ha ha ha ha.

And wayyyyyyyyyy to many others to mention.

Linda, the old grandma rocker

I''ll rock out to just about any song, but I really have a blast with Carrie Underwood (absolutely anything), Brad Paisley (''Online'' and ''Mud on the Tires''), Kenny Chesney (''She Thinks My Tractor''s Sexy''), Linkin Park (again, anything), and Guns ''N Roses (specifically, the Greatest Hits album).

I love singing along! I used to go to shows a lot, but I''d usually only go to them if it was a band whose songs I knew by heart!

I LOVE:

The Alkaline Trio (all songs off of Mix Tape, Goddamnit, Maybe I''ll Catch Fire)
Saves the Day (all songs off of Can''t Slow Down, I''m Sorry I''m Leaving, Through Being Cool)
The Get Up Kids (all songs off of 4 Minute Mile, Something to Write Home About)
Weezer (all songs off of Pinkerton, Blue Album)

What can I say-I''m kind of stuck in my high school and college music tastes!

"Pinball Wizard" The Who (The entire Tommy album, actually, but this song in particular.)

"My Sharona" The Knack

"You Can''t Always Get What You Want" Rolling Stones

"Mrs. Robinson" Simon & Garfunkel

"Come Sail Away" Styx

"Ghost" Indigo Girls (I should have put this one in your other thread, too, Zoe, talk about a moving song.)

I am going to contact the admin and try to get it deleted for you. I really don''t want your reputation shot down in one post.

I actually don''t play air guitar but I rock a mean air drum set. Genesis or Phil Collins'' "In the Air Tonight." You know the part I''m talkin'' ''bout.

Livin'' on a Prayer. Wa ooh wa ooh wa ooh ooh... "We''re half way there..." LOVE this one.

Also, Linkin Park and Jay Z''s Numb Encore

Haven, I love all things Indigo. "Ghost" is definitely great. One of my favorites is "Galileo," although I''m not sure you can really rock out to it. Have you ever heard of K''s Choice? It''s a band from Sweden (I''m pretty sure) and they toured with the Indigo Girls a few years ago (I''m not sure if they''re still together but check them out if you can). They''re really great! "If You''re Not Scared" is a favorite. Maybe not rock out worthy but still fun.

Anything by Queen or Prince.....

''Nother Zep lover here!

You''ll find me scaring fellow drivers as I rock out to anything 80s - especially Panama/Jump by Van Halen, Talk Dirty to Me/Nothin'' But a Good Time/Every Rose Has It''s Thorn by Poison, and Guns N Roses. I get a little wild with my wheel drumming.
2.gif
I sing along to just about everything, anyway! Lots of 80s and 90s pop and rock going on in my car...

I''m a HUGE Zeppelin fan, they''re my favorite, actually. Glad to hear I''m in good company--I knew I liked you gals for a reason. :)

Saddest thing I''ve learned since I started teaching high school: most of my students have never heard of Led Zeppelin. I wore my favorite Zeppelin t-shirt one Friday and they asked me about it ALL DAY. The horror!!!!

I love heavy metal and rock...

Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Rainbow, Van Halen, Whitesnake, Scorpions, Foo Fighters, Winger, Foreigner, Bad Company, some Motley Crue, AC/DC, Zeppelin, the Who, Genesis, some Guns n Roses...

I also love some of the newer bands and groups like Incubus, Breaking Benjamins, etc...really just totally depends on my mood at the moment.

Oh, definitely "For Whom the Bell Tolls" by Metallica (although it is DH''s and my little secret that we love us some Metallica),
"Build Me Up Buttercup" The Foundations
"Summertime" DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince (LOL!)
"A Thousand Miles" Vanessa Carlton
Those are the only ones that come straight to mind...out of many. I''m known by many for not answering my cellphone while driving because I can''t hear it over my blaring speakers.

Well, my all-time favorite band is Queen (yes, I am too young to remember any of the Wembley concerts)....so I love all there songs, esp: Great King Rat, Tie Your Mother Down, WWRY, WATC (we are the champions), It''s A Kind of Magic, etc....Basically any song Brian May rocks out in :)

I also love my brother, who is a music genius. Already has one CD out, soon to be in select stores :)

Other favs are: Creedence Clearwater Revival, J. Geils, Mika, LZ....

Last night I turned up Billy Idol's 'Dancing w/Myself.' I haven't heard that song in ages and rocked out to that

Pretty much anything in early Motown 1960-1973

Since I have a gazillion CDs and have favorites in every genre, I''m sure there are many others I forgot to name here. But these are some I always turn up the stereo for.

There are LOADS of songs I rock out to...usually depending on my mood. However, one song that always makes me smile and break out into some air instrument is God Gave Rock and Roll to You by Kiss.

I don''t know what it is about that song but when I hear it I just can''t help but rock out.

Queens of the Stone Age "No one knows". It was the first song that I learnt to play drums too and I love it.
