Wow, those Mom''s night out dresses are fabulous!

The flowy dresses are just too flowy, they don''t really flatter. I wonder why they tend to make maternity dresses like that. I''m hunting around a bit but can''t seem to find too many maternity wedding dresses. I can''t wait to see what you end up with!

That''s exactly how I feel. I was telling my mother yesterday that if I weren''t pregnant I would not be caught dead in a dress like these because they just don''t flatter my frame at all (just like bubble dresses and tea-lenght dresses). So having to shop for a flowy dress is kind of weird for me as I really don''t know what to look for or what would work.

I''m in love with the dress that LV posted and am searching for dresses similar to that. I will post what I find!

I actually like number 3!!

Oh . . . Yay . . . I''m glad to hear that! Are you looking for a dress like that, but that''s not necessarily maternity? If yes, I am certain that the back bow from that dress is from a designer dress, but I can''t recall which designer. Someone tried it on here, probably like 4 or 5 months ago. I''m sure if you posted that pic in a new thread and asked someone to find the designer of the original dress, I''m sure that someone would know it right away. I don''t recall though, what the front of that dress looked like at all. I just remember the bow!

LOL I love all of those you posted except the first Jasmine and the second Mori Lee. The Destination Mori Lee (I think the 3 or 4th one posted) is TDF and I can really see myself in something similar! Thanks for the leg work!!

You''re welcome, Fiery! Let us know how else we can help you

Fiery I stalked your avatar in the preggo thread to find out more about your wedding! I was wondering when it was and how being preggo would affect you dress search...

I ditto the others who mentioned that at only 5 months or so you will not have a very noticeable belly. You and I have similar figures (thought I think I may be taller? I am 5'7") and at 5.5 months now I am juuuust starting to get a belly bump--I posted a picture in the preggo thread about a week or so ago. I think you should try on dresses you LOOOOVE, then you can buy a dress that is about 5-6 inches bigger in your stomach that you currently need (which won't be such a larger size because being curvy you will need a large size to fit your hips anyways, and they would likely need to tailer your waist down. Stock sizes do not typically fit curvy girls like us) and to be safe maybe 2-3 inches bigger in the hips/bust. Then, have it tailored to flow nicely over your tummy and fit everywhere else! All you really need to do is maybe avoid dresses with corsetting and try to stick with ones that are less constricting.

Anyhoo, my point is that you can totally find a dress you love! Find the style now, maybe, but then order it at the last possibe minute! The dress shoudn't ruin your day! It will be so special to have your child with you when you get married... kicking you in the gut while you say your vows

Firey another curvy girl here, I have to say like the others the first 2 dresses did nothing for you.

I also have a smaller waist and bigger hips and find dresses with cap sleeves tend to help balance me out in the shoulder to hip area.

I think you should try this dress one that you liked and posted http://www.davidsbridal.com/bridal_gowns_detail.jsp?stid=3753&prodgroup=10 the ruching on the stomach area makes those dresses really flattering for curvy girls.

Something like this might look nice as well, and could be comfortable if you are showing (maybe with a small sleeve though)
