I'm at work (ridiculously early I might add) and can see the amazing solar eclipse perfectly from our building. Although it's partial here (Brisbane) it's still an amazing sight and the whole city is rather dim like late afternoon instead of early morning.

I can just imagine how this sight would have been terrifying to people thousands of years ago before they knew what caused it. :read:

Any other Aussie's seeing this?

I'm in New Zealand, I was watching it this morning through a welding helmet.

It was an 87% eclipse here, the temperature really dropped! The light was gorgeous right! Kind of grey, with long dark shadows.

How exciting to see the eclipse. We had a partial visible in May in Wyoming and we enjoying watching it. :wavey:

How exciting! :appl:

I saw the total solar eclipse on July 22, 2009 when we lived in Shanghai. It was totally awesome and somewhat eerie! 8-)

Wow that must be an amazing thing to see!
