Has anyone had their receptions at either St. Regis Monarch Beach and Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel ? It would be great to get some details if you had any or if anyone could recommend a location I would appreciate it. Thanks

Haven''t had or attended a wedding at either location, and I haven''t been to the St. Regis. But the Ritz in Laguna is gorgeous. They have a grassy bluff overlooking the ocean that I love, love, love. During a recent conference I slipped out and my co-workers found me there in one of the Adirondack chairs.

hi lakai,

My cousin got married at the Ritz Carlton in Laguna Niguel a couple of years ago and it was incredible. This was a second wedding for both, so the sunset ceremony was out overlooking the ocean out on the bluffs and then the reception was indoors. It was one of the best weddings I''ve ever been to. The food was spectacular and the wait staff were attentive without being intrusive. They even had special dinners for the children that were just as wonderful as ours, but in a kid friendly format. What I did notice was that the sound from the adjacent reception sort of spilled over during the quiet, speech portion of my cousin''s reception, but I suppose it all evened out ''cause we had the marching band from USC ring in the bride and groom. I''d love it if everyone in my family had their wedding at the Ritz. That would be faboo!
