Sniffle...lost my spinel pendant

I don't know where it went...it must have gotten misplaced during all the wedding chaos. Sigh.
It wasn't a particularly expensive piece, but it was so pretty and one of a kind!

Now every time I see a new topic in Colored Stones about spinels, I feel a sad little twinge. Haha, am I totally crazy?

Oh well, it happens. Just wanted to mourn a little.

Haha, my husband thinks I''m just having monthly mood swings. He doesn''t understand attachment to shiny objects. Unless it''s a guitar...then he''d get it. But it''s also much harder to just lose a guitar.

My mom lost the pearls that used to be her grandmothers on her wedding day. We looked EVERYWHERE for them for the second reception (one small one, then a large one later) and couldn''t find them. She was devastated! However about 3 months later we found them in the small pocket in her camera bag. The bed and breakfast must of put them in there during clean up of actual wedding.

MTG: I''m so sorry to hear this. I HATE losing jewelry, who doesn''t? I feel your pain, last summer I lost my rolling ring--left it on the sink counter in a gas station restroom--and just last week I lost one of my WG hoop earrings I purchased from Mondera...no idea where IT ended up.

I usually lose earrings, but never rings. The last pendant I lost was when I was 10 years old, an emerald birthstone from my grandmother. Huge knot in my stomach over every single loss. Definitely worth mourning a bit over!
