Hey @sledge last weekend we went to our little place up north for the weekend and whaddya know it was Aviation days with a car show.

Not a big town, so only maybe 40 cars, but two 68 camaros. I had to take pics for you ;-)

Also have a video of one of the planes “buzzing” us. Don’t wanna make a fake YouTube so perhaps I’ll screenshot a couple frames.

Plane going down the runway toward takeoff behind the car.

It was fun watching this plane buzz the “crowd” so we waited around for it to come back the second time. Here are a bunch of stills cuz I’m a poser ;0

I'm a big Camaro fan but it must be all original. The white and orange one is a 1969.

Actually, no, the 69s have squared wheel openings and parking lights are below the grill. The white and orange one was not a real ss, but it was a 4 speed. (the maroon one looked pretty legit, but was an automatic). 68s have a chrome strip across the tops of the doors, round wheel openings and rectangular parking lights in the grill. 67s also have round wheel openings, round parking lights in the grill and a vent window.

You are correct he re-modified the car. He is my GF's 1969 RS/SS Camaro.

Yah, that white/orange 68 pace car is a “wish it were” car. Camaro wasn’t even picked for pace car in 1968. It was a ford Torino.

OOh, I love the 69 RS grill best of them all! Great pics! What year is yours? You know, the one with just the guy? 74-76? Do you have either of them any more?

The red one is my 1975 Camaro. Both are long gone now.

I have owned three 1970 RS/Z28 in the past. I sold the copper colored (4 sp) like about 15 yrs ago. The car only had 9600 original miles. The green one is an auto with 58K original miles.

I know nothing about cars. But is this the plane equivalent of truckers honking their horns when they see a kid pumping their fist in the air? :lol-2:

Dang, @ringo865! For a minute there, I thought the girl from My Cousin Vinny had joined pricescope.

That is awesome that you know all of that!

Just wanted to comment that that is one of my favorite movies. And Marisa Tomei is absolutely gorgeous. Just sayin, lol.

I had a 1969 Rally Sport Camaro in hugger orange...it was given to me for my 16th birthday...I have very few pictures of it. Me being the youngin that I was when I had it I let it get away from me...the motor blew up in it was I was 19, my dad took the car back and gave me another one a 1971 olds tornado...wished I still had that camaro...I do currently have a 1967 Camaro and a 1986 Camaro...like dancing fire I do love a camaro!
