Hello everyone!

I almost can''t believe it''s so close. Six more days...and it''ll all be over!

Things are pretty much in order, as far as I can tell. Wednesday night is my final appointment at the venue, where I drop off all the reception set-up stuff. I have Thursday and Friday off, when I''ll be driving back and forth all over Massachusetts (it seems). Picking up the marriage license, getting my nails done, getting the dress, etc. etc.

I only have a few little loose ends to tie up as far as DIY projects and small last-minute purchases, and I''m pretty much good to go.

Today, Allison D. took me to the Nashoba Valley Winery to pick out some lovely wines for the gift baskets I''m giving away to our hotel guess. We shopped for the rest of the goodies in them afterward, and lemmie tell ya...without Allison''s BRILLIANT ideas, these gifts wouldn''t have been so great.

The DJ has his music, the guitarist is paid, the limo company is paid, florist is paid, the venue will be paid on Wednesday evening at the final appointment. The DJ and the JP are getting checks on the day of.

My dress.......fits. I''ve tried it on once where it was tight, and once where it was loose...so I guess it depends on how bloated I am that day. Either way I''ll at least be able to get into it. Finally. I don''t even want to get into THAT fiasco. I never even started a thread on it because I was already so sick of thinking about this darned dress.

My MOH is bringing my veil to me on Friday, her mother made it and hand-beaded it for me. I haven''t seen it yet, but I''m sure (I hope) I''ll love it.

My hair stylist ROCKS. The trial was an excellent success, and I cannot wait to have my hair done again. Probably my favorite part of the whole look.

This week I have to get a hold of the closest family members to let them know they have to go to the picture room right after the ceremony, rather than the tent. Something that would have made a rehearsal dinner useful...except not one person in either of our families was willing to host one, nor willing to attend one at my house, so that made it a bit harder on me.

And last...CERTAINLY NOT LEAST....this week I will be PRAYING for good weather. Not a hurricane. Good Lord, after this morning''s weather report I''m starting to wonder why we didn''t just go with an October wedding!

So....fairy dust PLEASE....for sunshine on September 6th!

T!! I''ve been thinking about you, I''m just so excited for you. So long as everything is basically in place, the week leading up to the wedding is surprisinly fun in that antsy, I-can''t-wait kind of way, you know? I know it feels like there are a ton of errands to run, but you have that giddy feeling in your stomach the whole time and I think it makes all of the running around and anticipation really memorable. Enjoy it!!

I feel you on the weather--naturally the one thing that you can''t control you stress out about the most! September is a fantastic month, though! I remember one (of the many) reasons I chose it was because it was the dryest month of the year in MA with (in my opinion) the best temperatures. Naturally, your day is going to be fantastic no matter what, but statistically, you couldn''t have chosen a better month!

I''m wishing you tons of luck, am so excited for you and cannot wait to hear about it! And yay for you and Allison being able to choose wines today, that sounds like fun! She''s fantastic!

HEY LADY!!! I will be praying for GREAT weather, no damage to ANYWHERE near your wedding, and an amazing day for you! I''m so excited for you, so close!! And you are really on top of things. Your dress will fit. You will look amazing. And YAY for Allison D for helping you out! If you have time (which you won''t, but I''ll ask anyway) post some of the pics of the stuff you got!

I can''t wait for your wedding pics, I''m dying to see your hair!

I can''t believe it''s only six days away! I''m delighted to hear that everythings coming together nicely and I''ll be praying for good weather for you! Have an enjoyable week in the lead up and an amazing wedding day!

How can do sleep knowing the wedding is so close?!?! How exciting. I hope everything goes to plan, and if not, remember you are marrying the man of your dreams! In 7 days, you will wake up a Mrs for the first time, next to your new husband.

Thanks, everyone, for your kind words! It was great to get up in the morning and read them.

NEL, thanks for your thoughts! I''ve been thinking of you - and how bad I am for not getting together with you in such a long time. I agree that shopping for last minute things is much more fun and fulfilling when it''s this close. Less of a chore. It didn''t hit me until I was with Allison yesterday, just how excited I am for it all! And yes, I agree with you that September is actually the best month, weather-wise, in New England and that''s exactly why I picked it. But I must admit I have spent the last year and a half thinking that OUR wedding day would without a doubt, be the ONE bad rainy day in all of September (negative thinking, I know)....but I didn''t really think it would come true!! Argh!

Gypsy - the house is a mess right now, but if I get around to it I''ll post pictures of the little things. At any rate, Allison D. is my photographer and she''ll surely have her eye on the prize as far as what pictures I''ll want to show here on PS. Thanks for your fairy dust!

Bee* - I know...how fast it''s come! They say it goes by fast, but I didn''t believe them. Towards the end, it really flies!!

Honey - I laughed at your comment "how can you sleep knowing the wedding is so close?!?!" It''s funny, I''m really calm. Knowing it''s that close actually helps me to savor the last days and the last bit of planning. I don''t know how to explain it, but I''m feeling really centered. Today I think I''ll do some lawn work. Heh.

SarahLovesJS - thanks for the happy day PS dust! I''ll be needing it!

I''m keeping my fingers and toes crossed that the weather holds for you! Can''t wait to see Allison''s photos, she''s a wiz with the camera. Good luck with wrapping up the remaining loose ends.

6 days! Glad to hear things are going well, and that you''re feeling calm. Enjoy!

And we''ll be wishing you good weather!

Aw! Best of luck darling!

I can''t WAIT to see pics!
