so i was typing away in bed a little while ago and noticed my post count.

without even opening his eyes, he responded,

That is funny though. Signs that my DH has accepted PS.

3 of the last 4 weekends have involved PSers. First we had a couple of PSers over for lunch. Next week we met another for dinner. Then the week after we met a couple for some shopping/early dinner in the city. And yes, he''s come with me to all of them.

Although that might be why he accepted his new job that gives him days off during the week, and not on weekends.

Just kidding. But it is kinda ironic.

I laughed out loud too. DH was sitting here and asked who/what it was on PS that made me laugh.

He spent 20 minutes before listening to me talk about the new Newlyweds board and actually seemed excited himself (not that he ever goes on here, but he saw I was happy about it). He even lately has been asking, "Anything new and interesting on Pricescope tonight?" every few days. I think he likes hearing about some of the topics we all discuss.

BF lovingly refers to PS as my "forums". he''ll see me sitting at the computer and say, "are you on your forums again?". he just doesn''t get it when i say, "i can''t wait to hit 500 posts and become an Ideal Rock!"

Your DH is funny!

Everytime I go online after him, he opens up Pricescope for me (without me asking).
He knows what HCA is and used it for the first time last weekend all by himself...hehe
He often asks what topics are we currently discussing on PS.

I don't think Freddy understands why I'm still on PS. He thinks this place is all about diamonds but he doesn't believe that it's another social network place where we talk about other things. He says SURE YOU TALK ABOUT OTHER THINGS.

When he sees pics of rings...he says to me "are you shopping for another ring?" I try and explain that ppl ask for opinions or suggestions..he doesn't get it.

I knew my DH had accepted the whole Pricescope thing when he gave me tweezers, a loupe, and a lightbox as part of my Christmas gift this past year. And he got me my own memory card for his camera (which takes better macro shots).

Not sure if you found it yet, but if you actually click on "Forum" at the top of the page it brings you to a page with the name and description of each forum. Scroll down and it''s under "Proposals, Weddings, and More" - you''ll see the Newlyweds board!

He has so many hobbies/interests/pursuits of his own that he''s just relieved its time I''m not begging for backscratches or TV cuddling! BUT ... and this is a big development considering how my he teases me about my "forum friends" ... The last few nights I''ve caught HIM on the Prius Owners forums. LOL! Yesssssss. Fall into that vortex my little pretty ...

Signs he''s accepted my addiction:

* he waited patiently while I tried on antique bling at Brimfield this weekend ... but stayed far enough away that he didn''t have to answer questions like "isn''t it gorgeous" "how much room is there on that card again?"

* when he came home to find his desk covered in MM rulers & shrunken down sketches of earrings, some of which had been cut out he just laughed & said "What have you been up to in here?"

* he was only mildly surprised to find me WEARING paper earrings ... again.

* he''s realized that when I need to "check email" before going to bed -- sometimes it takes a half hour ... and sometimes my "email" looks like the "posted today" page of Pricescope.

BF listens to me tell a story about my friend, and then will ask me, "Now, was that a friend friend, or a Pricescope friend?" He''ll ask how everybody on here is, and keeps track of people and will double check that he remembers who I''m talking about. He also sits down and looks at all the pictures of the adorable PS babies with me when I see something particularly cute (I think he''d recognize Tessa if he ever saw her). He even asked me yesterday when the next PS GTG is going to be!

i know FI has accepted my PS addiction because everytime he comes home and i am on the computer he asks, ''anything new with the pricescope ladies?'' i think he knows browsing PS is a lot better than dragging him from jewelry store to jewelry store just to check out eyecandy, haha

He sits with me at the computer while I go thru the various folders of rings and stones. He''s very patient while I explain "my ring will be this setting, this stone, this shape, this cut, this color". He calls it my "jewelry site".
