what is your favorite sight?

and what is your favorite smell???

my favorite sight. i have a few. i love the smells and sounds of the atlantic. and i love when you walk up the sand dune and see the ocean on the horizon... i love the sight of the FIRST snow fall... but only the first, and i love the first look of my fiance i get when i walk in the door at 6 pm

my favorite smell is the smell before it snows. it is so crisp and clean.. and its always really quiet too

My favourite sight is the rain... (when I am indoors of course!) and my favourite smell is freshly cut grass.

Sights: fi when she is sleeping

, fireflies, spongy green moss, unique jewelery or clothing, smiling babies.

Smells: both new and old books, freshly mowed grass [unfortunately I''m a bit allergic], the ocean, baked goodies, those glade plug-in air fresheners.

Horses galloping and playing in pasture, happy puppies.


Baby powder, clean sheets, cut grass, pine trees after a rain shower, home baked bread, Curry (I know I am weird), the smell from an orange when you cut into it, sweet cigars (or cigarellos), matches.

My favourite sight is the rain... (when I am indoors of course!)

Me too... except I prefer to be outside standing in it! It's a combo of sightsound for me. The house I grew up in has this fabulous huge porch, at the head of a circle drive with a park in the middle. I love sitting there watching the pouring rain, with the huge, old trees swaying in the wind. It's practically a meditative state for me.

Favorite smell is currently my dog immediately post-bath... Fi and I both swear he smells like tropical fruit! It has nothing to do with his shampoo, because it's been switched and his smell is the same.

Other favorite smell is plumeria flowers. Not plumeria scented things, the actual flowers. They smell like heaven to me! Especially after rain.

Favorite smells: familiar perfume, my mom’s house (it has a weird smell that I love), mom’s cooking (anything she cooks), my FI’s hair cream LOL

I also just love his smell. He doesn’t use cologne but he has a smell that makes me feel safe and loved

Favorite Sights: My BF when he smiles and he doesn''t know I''m looking at him, our dog when we come home and he''s super excited, Grand Finale’s of firework displays, downtown dever at night from Red Rocks Ampitheater, my grandparents house.

Other than the "mom" answers, I love the sight, smell, texture, and taste of snow. I am 28 years old and I still eat snow (not the yellow snow, though). I love to see fresh snow with no footprints, and I love to see fresh snow with hoof prints and bunny tracks.

I love the smell of Crayola crayons and Playdoh.

I love the sight of corn fields glistening with the most perfect emerald green in the sunlight. I love to watch the wheat fields turn to spun gold in the mid-summer and how they shimmer in the breezes. I love to see a field of sunflowers when all of their faces are pointing straight up, big and beautiful. I love a freshly plowed field with all the fragrant black dirt that is loose under your feet. I love to see the new calves around Easter and how soft and fluffy they are. Yeah, I really am a country girl.....

I love to see all the Holiday decorations all year round, except Halloween.

I love seeing those I love peacefully sleeping and breathing. Human or animal the rise and fall of peaceful slumbered breathing is a wonder to behold. Deeply peaceful.

The sight of my dear husband peacefully sleeping and the smell of his neck is too wonderful for words. Sigh.

It was one of my favorite things too until I figured out what was causing the hives! I now have an urge to cry every time i pass Cinnabon...
