So, some of you may (or may not remember) that I had thoracic surgery a few months ago. It seemed to turn out well, but the severe inflammation and pain in my chest returned...so I am now on medicine 24/7. I am depressed that I am so young (23) and still have so many health issues. It all stemmed from a hole in my heart (still have a murmur despite the major operation at 2) and my chest never fully developed correctly (causing metal wires to snap, lack of cavity space, etc).

Anyway, wanted to rant and see if anyone else had anything similar?! Perhaps open-heart surgery as a kid that is now having complications?! I am on a few med boards, but figured I would check here too.

Just wanted to send some hugs and prayers your way. ((Hugs)) And also a ton of get better soon inflammation and pain going away PS dust! You're very strong, please don't get depressed.

We're always here if you need to talk! And we're also always here for a good laugh, I know this one makes me giggle a bit: Panda.

ETA: And this one..Bichon thinks it's a cat

I can''t offer any help but I just wanted to show support. I was quite unwell in my early 20''s and it took a while for the doctor to work out what was wrong. I had surgery and recovered quite well. I still have problems now though and it can make me miserable at times.

((((((((((((((Big hugs))))))))))))

SaralovesJS-Thanks! That Panda is SO FUNNY!

Maise- You guys are awesome...It sucks to go through so much and still be sick!!!

I''m sorry to hear of your health troubles. It must be tough to be so young yet feel like you''re always in poor health.

UCLA, so sorry. I wish I could offer more help or input. I have chronic issues, but certainly not to that extent, but I know the frustration of not being well. I hope you get better soon!!!!

I was just thinking about you today UCLABelle, because I was talking to a 25 year old who I noticed had a scar like your across her chest.

I''m sorry that you are experiencing more problems and symptoms. Hopefully, you will be able to get it treated and the pain will diminish so that it doesn''t affect your activities of daily living. It sucks to be in pain.
