I dawdle. I need that time to wake up completely, and it takes me a while to shave and properly wash and condition my hair. I also bust out the pumice stone on occasion, so then it takes me even longer.
I''m sooooo much a dawdler in the shower! Years back (9.5 to be exact), it was discovered that being in the shower meant I could escape from my son and enjoy solitude. Years later, and after a second kid, that mindset has maintained in my programing. For some reason, no matter what I''m doing, my kids will be hanging out and/or chatting with me, but when I announce I''m taking a shower, they say, "okay," and walk off and entertain themselves. Occassionally, one will bang on the door, "Mom. . .something, something, something [that I can''t hear because I''m in the shower]," and I tell them I''m in the shower and can''t hear them and they again say, "okay," and walk off. Ahhhh, 20 minutes of peace and quiet.
3 minutes is fine for me. I don''t use conditioner, I don''t shave and it only takes a minute or two to wash and shampoo, then I can escape. I have a remarkably low boredom threshold...
On average 20 mins... but I''ve been known for the hour long shower when I don''t feel well... (I also used to shower twice a day in the summer when I did a lot of swimming/ tanning)
Five minutes. Showering and getting ready are things I do that I consider wasted time. I would much rather be doing other things, so I try to get though it as quickly as possible.
I had a roommate once who took minimum 45 minute showers that would very often be 90 minutes (three women, one bathroom). I hated that about her
I LOVE the shower, I stay in there until either my husband comes knocking on the door to see if I'm still alive or I start to feel faint from lack of oxygen.
I shower to get warm, shower to get clean, shower to relax, shower to wake up, any excuse to shower - I love it!
Hub and I have separate bathrooms - so my bathroom is my little sanctuary!
15-20 minutes usually. On weekends or days when I have time/want to relax/need the warmth, I stand under the piping hot water for an additional 5-10 minutes.
Australia has been in a serious drought for many years now so I couldn''t possibly stand under the shower a minute longer than necessary and let so much precious water just run down the drain.
I wax and epilate so shaving isn''t a requirement.
Jennifer Aniston probably has her hair washed by her hairdresser every few days so take that away and she could probably shower in 3 minutes. Good for her.
If it''s in the morning, I''m generally in a hurry and I''m quick. If it''s in the evening after a long day, I have a tendancy to draw it out. Usually because I''m letting hot water hit my back and neck to try and loosen the muscles.
