Should I peek?

DD's PSAT results are in and I am soooo tempted to peek at her scores.

She'll be home in about 3 hours. What should I do to distract myself? I don't want to be a bad mom!

My MIL looked at DH's SAT scores before he got a chance and he is still bitter about it, (among many other freakish "control" issues she has... but still.)


Go to Target and get lost for an hour or so... or go to the grocery store. Just don't look!

No, do not peek. Also, do not try and be sneaky by opening the envelope via steam and then try to reseal it. That trick doesn''t work so well as it leaves ripples in the paper. lol

I wouldn''t peek, but you could do what my mom used to do. She''d open things like that and then when I asked her why she had read my mail, she would say that she "accidentally" opened it. Yeah, it was a weak excuse. I never bought it but you could try.

Dont open it. My mother was never good at stuff like that either. She usually called me and asked if she could open things. I always said yes and then it wouldn''t drive her crazy anymore and it was kind of like we were opening it together.

DD is so proud of herself. Now she has to wait until Sept 2010 to find out if she is a National Merit finalist or not.
