DH just got an ice cream maker for his birthday last week, and we are excited about using it this summer.

I would like to get a book of recipes, but everyone always seems to have such great ideas for cooking--so please share your favorite ice cream recipes!

My choice for no-fail recipes is the Ice Cream Ireland Blog The guy who writes the blog and his brother co-own a small chain of ice cream shops in Ireland (hence the name) and Kieran posts the most wonderful recipes. I've been following his blog for a couple years now, and have made the Bailey's, green tea, strawberry sage, vanilla, and pistachio with great success (and frequency!). I also love David Lebovitz's strawberry frozen yogurt recipe, found here: http://www.davidlebovitz.com/archives/2006/04/may_day_market.html. I've tried his salted caramel ice cream twice, though, to disastrous results the first time and even worse ones the second!

Ben and Jerry actually have a recipe book (Homemade Ice Cream and Dessert Book)...and it''s darned good!
