I got offered a job today! I interviewed for the position on Tuesday and am pleasantly surprised to hear from them so soon.

I got my degree 2 years ago and have been looking for a REAL job since then. I've finally found one! I'm so excited!

My degree is in Finance and the job is in the commercial lines underwriting department of a property/casualty company. Not EXACTLY what I had in mind, but will get me some great experience. The company sounds great to work for! They really take care of the employees and are involved in the community.

Keeping up your spirit after a two year search is very impressive and shows how strong you are . I hope that you will enjoy this job and that it will be a great stepping stone to get the job of your dreams.

It sounds awful that so many graduates are underemployed. Is it certain areas that are mainly affected and those from the "good" schools still get jobs or is it affecting everyone?
