Anyone else listening...?

I know the SNL skit likened him to Forrest Gump, but I've never seen the movie so I'm flashing back (with just the audio in the background) to Gomer Pyle. Except I don't think of Gomer as a whiner. These first few minutes make me want to say, "Jeff, buck up man."

Just finished watching about 8 minutes and I'm done. I'm sooooo done.

He seems to have fundamental misunderstanding of the concept of executive privilege.

Ooh! Manchin just turned the tables on Gomer!

What should we be asking indeed!

I couldn't bring myself to do it. My husband is flipping out to me on GChat and my coworkers are in the other room losing their minds.

Twitter is entertaining the hell out of me though.

I feel like you could stop at "fundamental misunderstanding" and be ok with putting a period there.

Something interesting and BIG: Sessions claims he has never requested or attended a classified briefing on Russian interference. What?

Remember, Comey claimed Trump never asked him about russian interference, either (outside of his involvement, the 'cloud' over his presidency). No curiosity whatsoever.

Obtuse.

Completely obtuse.

CLEARLY he's in Cheeto's pocket! :nono:
Hope he goes down with Trump.

Chump is probably handing him a suitcase with a few million bucks cash as I write this.

This is truly shocking. I was honestly surprised by this. So, we have not only an AG who seems to be uninterested for whatever reason, but also a president who is a) innocent and possibly interested but terrified if they uncover too much, his presidency will be seen as illegitimate and THIS is more important to him than safeguarding future elections, or b) one not interested because he already knows just what happened.

I watched the entire thing and it was horrifying. He's a horrible liar, and was incredibly obvious about it. The had the audacity to essentially argue he can't say anything having to do with POTUS based on NOTHING other than his guilt/feelings/idiocy?

I am appalled that he wasn't held in contempt of congress, as he 100% should have been. On the bright side, Kamala Harris killed it (again), and I adore her.
