hopefully this is the ring pic
I think I can get all my money back if I go via ebay/gumtree. Pretty sure the jeweller has a buy back option but i lose 20% of the value or something like thatDate: 9/21/2009 10:17:18 PM

Since you sound a little indecisive, I would let it sit in your jewellery box for a while so you can think about a recycling project. You are going to lose money on it if you sell the stone, so you might as well put it to good use.

I think what really bugs me is the thickness of the band... i prefer delicate bands. I *thought* i would like a thick band but i now *know* that i don''t. No idea what is wrong!!!! It is such a beautiful diamond![]()
This sounds like a great suggestion.Date: 9/22/2009 9:44:30 AM

Do you like it enough to get a jeweler to shave down the band? I don''t know if you''d want to put more money into it, but since you wouldn''t get all your money back returning it...
On eBay, It can be difficult selling jewelry for what you''d want. Also, you have to pay a fee to sell and a fee to take a Pay Pal payment. You may be better off selling to the jeweler and taking the 20% loss.Date: 9/21/2009 10:20:15 PM

Would the jeweler take it in trade for another stone?
