How about resetting the diamond into a necklace/pendant instead, cindy? Or keep it for a different project later on down the road, maybe?

Oh no! Buyer''s remorse! What does the ring look like?

That''s what Fi told me to do!!!! Hmmm i have to think about that. I just hate to think that its sitting in the box, not being worn. I did intend on setting it in a necklace to wear on my wedding day, but i have since changed my mind about it. I probably won''t be wearing a necklace at all.

hopefully this is the ring pic

cindy- its a beautiful ring, is the return period up? do you think you'd ever want a three stone ring with colored gemstones on the sides in the future?

Since you sound a little indecisive, I would let it sit in your jewellery box for a while so you can think about a recycling project. You are going to lose money on it if you sell the stone, so you might as well put it to good use.

For me, a 3 stone ring is an anniversary ring, so i probably won''t get it for myself in the future...

I think what really bugs me is the thickness of the band... i prefer delicate bands. I *thought* i would like a thick band but i now *know* that i don''t. No idea what is wrong!!!! It is such a beautiful diamond

I think I can get all my money back if I go via ebay/gumtree. Pretty sure the jeweller has a buy back option but i lose 20% of the value or something like that

Hahaha thanks DF. You are so right!

Would the jeweler take it in trade for another stone?

Why don''t you reset it? I think the diamond is beautiful and would look nice in a more delicate setting.

Do you like it enough to get a jeweler to shave down the band? I don''t know if you''d want to put more money into it, but since you wouldn''t get all your money back returning it...

This sounds like a great suggestion.

On eBay, It can be difficult selling jewelry for what you''d want. Also, you have to pay a fee to sell and a fee to take a Pay Pal payment. You may be better off selling to the jeweler and taking the 20% loss.
