We should be getting our envelopes back from the calligrapher today, and we need to stuff the non-US ones within the next day or to and get them out by FRIDAY! Which would be fun, if I weren''t so dang tired - have been working way too hard lately, including a 2 am document delivery last night.

Anyhow, these are the components:

Outer envelope
Invitation
Inner envelope
Reply card with envelope
Web-site etc. insert

So in what order do they go?

Outer envelope, then inner envelope (should the opening face front or back - I mean, when you open the outer envelope, should you see the front or the back of the inner envelope??), then a stack of the invite, reply card/envelope (I assume just tucked under the flap of the reply envelope, not inserted into the reply envelope), then insert? Should the reply card/envelope be facing out just like the invitation, or should it be the front of the reply envelope facing out?

Does this make any sense? I have confused myself!

1. Outer envelope
2. Inner evelope with the following inside:
1. Invitation
2. Website insert
3. Reply card with envelope

NOTE: When the recipient opens the inner envelope, the invitation would be closest to the him/her, then would come the website insert, and the reply card with envelope would be against the back of the inner envelope.

Thanks! Should the inner envelope be facing out when you open the outer envelope (i.e., should the inner envelope address show or should the other side show?)

IMO, when the recipient opens the outer envelope, the front/flat side (not the sealed side) of the inner envelope should be facing him/her.
