Thank you so much Ginger, best Christmas gift this year!! It made me cry and cry - one of the best things I've seen in a long time. Talk about talent - as a film, as a story, as a song, and as a message, particularly in the homophobic and misogynist rap world.

That's how I got there. Mackelmore are playing in Perth next Feb and I wanted to check out their other stuff besides Thrift Shop to see if they're worth seeing. Turns out, they definitely are. They're very talented and have some great, poignant lyrics.

I've watched this video at least 6 times. Dragged DH in from the car as he got home from band practice to watch as well. :))
