Same thing - the legends are in Russian but it does not matter, you probably know about this amazing cathedral, Gaudi is Gaudi... Good photos. You may have to wait a little bit till they load.

I am impatient, so I scrolled down, then up, then waited and scrolled down again to see all of them. But once you are able to see them all...

I am in love with Sagrada Familia, so sad that Gaudi got under a train and died soon afterwards, and his work studio with all blueprints was set on fire during the Civil War in Spain, and almost nothing has been left!

Gorgeous cathedral in Barcelona, well worth the long line to get in! Pictures just could not capture the beauty of what we saw! Beware of the pick pockets while you wait in the line outside!

Wow, I love the nave...the white columns and the ceiling are both exquisit! Thanks for sharing.

I first saw La Sagrada Familia when I was 18 and touring Europe with a friend. I remember coming up the steps from the metro, turning around, and gasping. That moment will always be burned in my memory. I think Gaudi's works in Barcelona are reason enough to visit the city. So gorgeous!

I have a somewhat bad memory of the Sagrada Familia - I went right up to the top and then my fear of heights suddenly hit like it never has before - or since, although I am warier now of where I go - it took 3 people to get me back down. I was in total hysterics, on my hands and knees holding on to the walls for dear life and it still makes me feel ill just thinking about it!

Gaudi's work is quite incredible though!

La Sagrada Familia is amazing! I went to Spain a few years ago on vacation and I absolutely loved all the Gaudi architecture in Barcelona. We had kind of an architecture-themed vacation because we also went to Bilbao to see the Guggenheim.

Sagrada Familia really does make you gasp. Lines & shapes are so fluid, it seems to be moving serenely all the time & textures are special Gaudi. Love his lamp posts in Barcelona too. (Bilbao Guggenheim definitely not my cup of tea.)
